What is the Best Free Software to use in order to Rip DVD'S and convert them to AMV format please...Where from/how, please.
My Player (4gb) Plays: Wmv,Mpeg1-2, AVI?

MP4 is VIDEO TYPE MEDIUM....
dont know where Quicktime audio comes into it...
can i have some decent answers (no:2 excepted)

MP4 being a Video Medium, you need to download/buy either NERO7 or VIDEO9, also a programme called 'anydvd' will rip DVD'S to your harddrive for putting on Mp4 player.. g/luck, and happy christmas

If your player only plays WMV, MPG1-2, and AVI, why would you want a format that it doesn't support?
Also, MP4 is Quicktime AUDIO, not video. In fact, I'm not even sure what AMV IS.

download the k-lite mega codec pack. google it for more details. it can play any file format and is good for ripping as well.
