If you are referring to God's spirit you would be talking about the Holy spirit. In essence it is a force that exists in the hearts of those that have taken christ as their saviour, a form of energy that is all things positive, love and joy and gets stronger with faith.

I am an athiest myself, so I am not trying to preach to you. Only my family is very religious so I am just relaying what they have said to me about it.

Yes, but not a curse.. just a misconception.

Each spirit is limited to one person at the same time, and God cannot have even a BIG spirit, because that would mean that outside God's spirit there's space for other Gods.

Solution, God is The All spirit, where there is nothing outside and nothing inside. God is All.

What "the spirit of God" is can be understood by comparing it to the "spirit of man." Many score times does the Bible speak of man’s inner attributes or disposition of mind which may be vented by his breath such as in anger. This "spirit" is not another person but part and parcel of the person himself. Thus, the "spirit of God" is also that inner attribute of the Divine Mind which the Creator can project from Himself to accomplish His will. The two cannot be separated. Thus, if a person sin against the spirit of God it is the same as sinning against God. (Numbers 12:1-16; Acts 5:1-4)

Spirit are animating forces of living things. It's what makes them move, talk, feel, hear...etc. etc.
I believe that God is a lot more than a spirit. I don't think it's possible to understand exactly what God is other than that He created this world and everything in it. If things live and breathe, then I believe that God gave them a spirit.

All souls (aka atmans in hinduism) are spirits... energy! And God is a cluster of pure energy... the collective power of all souls spirits in the cosmos(;-)

The Definition Spirit

The essence of life... spirit within every human being denotes the presence of a supernatural being... a source of energy not governed nor tamed by the forces of nature.

Spirit in true sense is that vital life force existing within every living being without which the body would decay and die. The most commonly used nomenclature for the term spirit is soul atman within the body of every living being.

The presence of spirit the soul within the body indicates that it is governing. This spirit soul atman survives without a body but not vice versa. It is the soul atman... the spirit present within the body that has manifested the body. Never otherwise!

In the vast expanse of the Cosmos... it is the spirits that play the governing role. Ever since the creation of the Cosmos by Almighty God... this spirit our soul within has guided the life of every living being with prompts from within.

Does this spirit breathe?

Yes, the respiration which is an essential part of life for every living being is required by this spirit. No body devoid of spirit within requires respiration. This vital life force... the process of respiration is an integral part of the life of spirit that enables the living being to go on and on.

Human beings can never interfere in the world of spirits. Something that we cannot see... the presence of which can only be felt... it is this energizing force of the spirit within every living being that makes the journey of life worthwhile and possible.

Talking of spirits... does not mean the world of spirit as understood by the filmmakers. The make believe world of the spirits as shown in the movies is not the absolute truth. If we say that one can call upon the spirits of the dead... yes, it is possible to invoke the power of any spirit by every human being. God is that voice you hear in your head that is revealing the good things in life. Our spirit is our soul. When a person dies, and you see them dead, what is missing from their body is their sprit. The body without the spirit is dead.As human beings we should be just as concerned about exercising our spirits as we are about exercising our flesh. To become a whole person we should bring the two in perfect alignment with each other.Peace!!

God is the Yin and the Yang
the dark and the light
the positive and the negative

the love and the hate.

you must realize that God is all things, and you will rise into the light and shine like never before.

God is the spirit and the flesh. God is the darkness and the light.
the beauty is in seeing it as a whole, and loving it as it is.

in all it's ONE'ness
