If you are in your late adolescent or early twenties and have a family history of Schizophrenia in your family and you are hearing voices which are not there and you feel like hitting other people or yourself or you think that they will hit you and looks at you in a weird way even if the person you're with assures you that these people do not look at you the way you think...then most likely you are in the verge of madness. These people either behave in paranoia, believe in their own delusions and hallucinations as real and cannot distinguish between what is unreal and/or unreasonable violence to self and others. There are many hallmarks of insanity and madness which depends on the person's personality. If you really want to make sure about your mental health you should consult a therapist like a psychologist or psychiatrist. It won't do any harm if you do a consult, it will even improve your quality of life.

Someone who develops schizophrenia suddenly? It will be as if they turned into another person, as if the person they used to be is dead. They will often have irrational obsessions, phobias, and compulsions, say things that don't make sense. A small percent of them become violent towards others. Some are hard to reach.

When they lose touch with reality is usually a good indication..when their concience no longer matters, and the feelings of others no longer matter,...when they are a threat to themselves, or to others...and appear to be sinking fast, with no hope in sight...
