Well you can't! The bird has to have a mate. Male and female=babies. The birds do their own thing when the weather is just starting to warm in the Springtime. Provide a box with a lid, big enough for them to get into with a hold just large enough for them to pass through. Provide plenty of bedding material. The female and male will start building the nest when they are ready. After the nest is built the female will start spending more and more time inside the nest. Eggs are not laid all at once, but over several days time. Try not to disturb the female by peeking into the nest. Provide plenty of food and water. Good luck!
