Ignore those jackasses. A size 16 is a healthy size. Marilyn Monroe was a size 16.
Lane Bryant has beautiful (but expensive) clothes.
Alight.com has beatufiul clothes as well.
Here's a list:

http://sydneyscloset.com/ (formal dresses)
Lovely clothes.
A size 16 is not "massive." A size 16 is on the lower end of the Plus-Size scale.
I'm positive that your sister is beautiful.
I wish her the best of luck!
Ashley.

Do you have a christoper/CJ Banks in your area?? There clothes are great, but spendy. The back 1/3 of the store, you will find fab deals though! The company has two stores one for up to size 14 and the other 14w and up. I can't remember if the one you want is Christopher Banks or the CJ banks. However, where there is one, the other is always around close by!
I am a size 16 and love the way they fit. Heads up, though--no petites past size 8 or so! (hate that) I usually get my petite pants at sears.

Evans is by far the best Size 16+ retailer.
Marks and Spencer also have some larger sizes in stock as well, if she wants to go into a well known and respected High Street Store.
I have bought clothes from both stores. I am size 22 or 24.

A lot of places do a size 16.
Evans is specifically for 14 and up or maybe 16 and up and their clothes are nice.
Next go up to a size 22 and if you can't fidn the clothes in the shop they are online too www.next.co.uk and have a catalogue.
A lot of catalogues have a plus size section in them.
New look also have a range of larger sizes.
Good Luck :)

Don't take any notice of the nasty comments - they are unable to understand the needs of other people, and they probably just want to gain 2 points....
I hope your sister finds something to wear that makes her feel special, and has a lovely time at the special occasion

Size 16 isn't huge!! It's just an ordinary size, most UK woman's clothes shops go up to size 18, some even bigger. Don't bother with Evans as they are for really big women. Just tell her to shop wherever she normally does.

I did not answer your previous question but I do not think that you are entitled to complain about a fairly obvious answer. While your sister's medical condition is very sad, in the absence of this information, it is a reasonable assumption that obesity is a self inflicted condition.
I hope your sister finds an appropriate outfit within her budget.
