Sometimes guys think they need to be what society says guys are. K, men are supposed to be horn dog, lying, cheating, as$holes right? So maybe for some reason he feels his buddies wont think him much of a man if he stands there with his girl holding hands staring into her eyes telling her how beautiful she is and how he wants to see a chick flick! See what I mean? I'm a woman and I totally understand the human need to gaze at something beautiful...think art museum. Have you noticed that museums are quiet for the most part? Admiring beauty of others is one thing but you can really only safely voice your opinion on your "own" work of art...
So either he's trying to fit with society standards or he is what has ruined societies view and he really is an as$!
Hope this helps put this into perspective for you.

LMAO...It's a man's(deluded) way of getting his GF to take a look at the women he finds attractive and get pointers on dress, carriage and general overall demeanor. He probably loves her, but is just BORED! Unlike women, men need "eye-candy"...which is why we love women to play dress-up for us, visit strip joints that have Salma Hayek look-alikes in Catholic schoolgirl outfits and have trophy GF's and fast cars when we're old and raggedy.

He's definitely disrespecting her. As her boyfriend he should be wanting to boost her self-esteem and want to make her feel good around him. He's not doing that, which says a lot about how he feels about himself, which is not very good. He's got a self-esteem issue; maybe wants to make her jealous. This is very immature. She needs to talk to him about what he's doing, how it makes her feel, how it makes him look (like an asshole); and he needs to stop, now.

I dont know what it means but he should have enough respect for her not to say those things when she is around I mean just because he is with her doesnt mean he dont find other girls attractive but he should care enough not to say that around her I think she should talk to him about it try to get him to stop and if he doesnt then drop him....

she should lose him(dump him). he's ovbiously not interested in his girlfriend and is just using her. she shouldnt put herself through that and find someone who wants just her and is complete and satisfied with only her. it's not going to last between your friend and her bf. she definately needs to get another bf. but the ones who are your best bet for boyfriend material are those that just come along randomly. dont go out looking for a bf, cause you'll seem desperate and emotional needy...which is a turnoff for guys...at least the good ones. you and your friend need to go on with ya'lls lives and enjoy ya'lls friendship and life itself. a guy will come along when you least expect it and that's when love's the sweetest.

HE'S AN ASSHOLE. NOT ONLY THAT HE'S AN INSENSATIVE ASSHOLE. It would be one thing if he did it with his budies but to do it in front of her tells me he's an insecure asshole. tell your friend to dump him ASAP nobody deserves that how rude. his father probably treats his own mother like that. hope i don't run into him.

I have a friend that does the same thing, and he has never cheated on his girl now wife. If she lets him get away with it, he will never stop. She better confront him.

When you love nad care for someone that will include respect. He does not respect her so the loving part is a myth. He is imature and she needs to move on.
Love is respect. THAT is not respect, for her or himself frankly.
