if i cover the dish antena with plastic sheet for the birds, whether the signals from the satlite affect ?

lot of birds are rounding our roof

the only way the plastic should cause a problem is if it gets ice on it. water causes attenuation. or loss of signal. usually it would only stick around for long periods if it was ice.

You can buy plastic covers specifically made to cover dish antennas. I'm sure they are just ordinary plastic, so you can make your own.
