Business casual simply means dress business-like but you don't need a full suit and tie outfit. A shirt with a collar (polo or dress shirt) with a sports coat or sweater and corduroy or khaki pants will be fine. As for shoes, leave the sneakers home but feel free to wear a dressy loafer-type.

It is the same as in America, which means no jeans or sneakers. Try khakis and a polo shirt with loafers, or other dress pants. You could wear a polo and a jacket with no tie--the tie would be too formal. You could also wear dress pants/khakis with a dress shirt, but leave out the tie and jacket.

It's a bit easier for ladies, who generally have more options when it comes to clothing, but this is what my experienced male managers and coworkers wear to business casual.

It's the same here as it is in the US. No tie required, but no jeans, either. Nothing trendy, no athletic shoes. Sport jacket optional, but nice. Think of what you might wear to a 'nice,' but not absolutely top-notch, restaurant.

Do a Google image search (http://images.google.com/) for something like "business casual" or "business casual men" for a good idea.

When I used to attend meetings abroad, I saw little point in attempting to mimic the local dress code as, short of buying new clothes, I would always stand out as somewhat different. I used to wear a conservative UK suit, often making my origins obvious to anyone who wished to locate the Englishman.

Dress as you would for a church picnic. Dockers, nice shirt, no tie, nice shoes.

You don't need to wear a necktie but should look 'office presentable'.
