Right click on your desktop and create New > Shortcut then browse what or where You want to make shortcut to the My Computer is easy but the Show Desktop maybe in the Windows folder. Also pressing windows key + D will minimize all windows and return You to the desktop.

Ohh yeah once You have created these Icons drag them down to teh Quick Launch, alternativly You can assign them shortcut keys I find this more effective.

Hopefully this helps.

Step 1: Open a new notepad file and type the following text:

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

Step 2: Save this file as "Show Desktop.scf" - remember to use the quotes else notepad may save it with a .txt extension.

Step 3: Use the mouse to drag the Show Desktop.scf icon to the Quick Launch toolbar or another location where you want the shortcut to appear.
