There is a great excess of people on the planet while animals are subjected to mis-treatment and in some cases threatened by extinction. In such circumstances, I suggest it is wrong to give to most human charities as these ultimately contribute to the destruction of the planet.

The whole of idea of charities is rubbish. Why cant all charities who "want" the same thing club together, share resources and knowledge and come up with the medicine in a more productive way? - Money is unevenly spread among the different organisations and at the end of the day, they all want to be the breakthroughers, they all want the international glore of finding a cure.

No. How can it be wrong to choose what you spend your own money on? This is what annoys me about donating. We are bullied in to giving left, right and centre and made to feel guilty about not giving to every charity under the sun. I give to none of them, charity begins at home with me.

no, but animals have far too many charities as well, and next to none of the money donated actually gets to help the animals.

Donate to whatever charity is closest to your heart. Just the fact that you wish to give is more than can said for a lot of folks!

No, it's not wrong. I only donate to animal charities. Animals need to be taken care of. They can't speak when they are hurt or hungry. They brighten our lives.

I wouldn't say it was wrong, but it is up to the individual if they feel they want to donate....we can be pressured sometimes to give to charities i all depends on how big our consciences are....it all depends on how much the charity would mean to us, and if we thought it was for a worth while cause....but it all depends on how we see things.

im not sure.. i was selling a PS3 on eBay for a known child charity but was told by people at work about all the uses of the money from people who work there,, i think if your going to give to kids.. buy them a toy. make it material. so others can't abuse what ur good intensions are for.
