Green taxes pay for the thousands of illegal immigrants this Government allowed in without any consequences of their actions. Now the scumbag leaders don't know what to do with the mess so they make the middle classes pay for their own limp wristed, off the cuff policies.

Yes...I was going to post a question about the Government's new 'Pay as you Drive' scheme. But then I thought better of it - because I don't want to get into trouble. Some things are better left unasked. But since you asked it, I'll answer it!
'Pay as you Drive' sucks big time and it is only going to price poor people off the roads. It is designed to ease congestion afterall and it doesn't have a lot to do with global warming like you think it does.
I saw something on TV yesterday where they were saying the average price people will be paying on a monthly basis was £120. I don't think this included insurance or petrol either.
House prices have been shooting up as well. People with houses are the new rich people of Britain. Those without are the poor people whose only saviour is to have their own car. But with this new scheme the Government is bringing in, this commodity poor people can only just afford at the moment will no longer be affordable. Just what are they trying to do to this country and its people?
Plus if they kept the immigrants out of our country, wouldn't this ease congestion on our roads? Or maybe that is the plan - the more people we have in the UK, the more congested our roads are, which re-inforces the Government's money making idea of 'Pay as you Drive' to help ease the congestion problem. Or maybe I am just being paranoid and am thinking too deeply into this.

Exactly!! All these new so called "green" taxes are just a total scam to try and extract yet more cash out of us hard working law abiding mugs. If some scumbag goes and mugs an old lady, gets let off with a caution but if you put the WRONG type of bottle in the WRONG bin you're straight up court with a hefty fine. This crap government is using this whole "green" agenda to divert attention from the fact that they've screwed up on education, immigration, crime and the health service. It's all BULLS%%T!!

Quite right and while you'er at it , what happened to the 500000 that were going to die from CJD caused by BSE . An old Red Ken for you Londoners who dosnt want desal plants , I didnt know he was an expert on HRSG's combine cycle power plants , but dont worry he will just keep charging for congestion , high time there were at least 40 windmills in HydePark and regents park instead of the areas of senic beauty, but then with soppy Blair and Cruella de blair calling the shots it will be some time before we get back to common sense. Keep going mate.

Ha ha, I'm right here. I didn't know global warming was just about YOUR RESERVOIR filling up. Clearly you are self obsessed and short sighted enough to believe money is the the most important thing in the world. Those of us who believe THE WORLD is the most important thing will try to stop all those who SCROUNGE resources out of the earth and commit CRIMINAL damage on the planet which is manifested in all sorts of BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS ways. boo hoo hoo to your road charges, but I care about bigger issues.
The BIG MOUTHS of which you speak are not making it up, simply scientist reporting the state of things as they are. Governments and people can use that information as they choose, and in a DEMOCRACY one can only hope that they look at the evidence properly and take a balanced view in light of all the evidence.
Ignoring the majority of this evidence and using your own observations of ONE RESERVOIR as an indicator of global warming and moaning about your MONEY shows that you are not capable of such balanced thought and probably blinded by your obsession with money.
There are of course other problems in the world, which also require there own balanced views...hopefully you are not required to deal with them either.

You are kidding aren't you??
In Australia our reservoirs/dams HAVEN'T filled up with water, we are at our lowest for decades. We are on level 5 water restrictions, and it doesn't look like it'll get any better in the near future. Things are that bad, governments are proposing making us drink supposed recycled f***ing sewage water. There summits being held constantly to try to find a solution to our water shortage. Temperatures are way higher for this time of year, things are getting worse.
The UK isn't the only country in the world, we are all affected by, YES, global warming. Wake up.

You said it, road charges to pay for public transport.
More likely to fund over priced rail engineering contracts given to companies whose directors are Minsters' cronies.
If the existing road and fuel revenue were all applied to transport, even this government would be hard pushed to spend the vast piles of money.
Most protagonists of high transport tax are either academics in jobs for life within walking distance of work or officials provided with free transport. Working people are over taxed to fund these parasites who produce biased 'reports' in an attempt to justify more exploitation of the population.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. THEY WILL BE CHARGING US TO JUST EXIST NEXT, THE THING THAT GETS ME IS WE ARE ONLY A SMALL COUNTRY, SO WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO PAY SO MUCH. THE COST OF COMBATING GLOBAL WARMING SHOULD BE A WORLDWIDE PROJECT, WITH EVERY COUNTRY PAYING THE SAME, THEN WE WOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY THREW THE NOSE, AFTER ALL WE ALL HAVE TO BREATH THE SAME AIR.
