nope they even removed most of the books from the bible if you get time to a search on the lost books of the bible that is some interesting reading. why dont we just get rid of religion and go back to the way it was when the bible was written no religion but a lot of prayer and faith

You sure can Acts 2:46, & they continue in the Apostles Doctrine, & also Paul said in another verse Study thyselve to see if you be in the faith or doctrine, & also the bible says. there is only one doctrine, & also Paul say if any man or a angel from heaven come & preached any other doctrine than what we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. & in Isa. 52:8 They will see eye to eye. Eph. 4:11-17 Unity of the Faith.

The source-texts of christianity are oftentimes vague and unclear (open to interpretation) on a number of points. This naturally leads to differing viewpoints and interpretations.
Add that to the fact that christians often consider the books to be incontravertible and thus their interpretations of those books to also be the only "right" one and you get the dozens of christian organizations in the world today.

Everyone seems to think they are smarter, better, and right. Basically it comes down to pride. If instead everyone admitted that it didn't really matter as long as you believed we wouldn't have half the problems we do in the world.

Jesus came to Earth, taught us and gave his life to redeem our sin, was resurrected and returned to heaven and is coming again.
Christians agree on that - the other things are man and his imperfections.
