The last name Kohlmeyer?

Okay is anyone familiar with this last name, as well as Schulze, Schulz, Schultz. Most of the family lines that we have are in Houston County Minnesota. We know that we came from Germany/ Prussia but we still have alot of missing links in between. Any help outside of other gen. websites would be great!

I knew a Kohlmeyer family that lived in South Florida, Miami and Ft. Lauderdale who were close with our family and they originated from Switzerland. So you would have to start in that country not here, follow the migratory path which of course will be New York. Good Luck to you. You might be the lost queen of Prussia or something.
