God has a plan for each of us.You have to seek God your self to see what his plan is for you.
You will get many answers from people .But the best answer is when you seek God and he tells you.
I tell people I was born to praise my savior.
I love to praise .I can't sing at all. But I do it at home.
I know I was born to encourage others.

Answer: Psalm 100 We are God's, our lives belongs to him.

Details: We were born is a biological fact, we are Christian because of belief. That belief starts with God keeping his promises of a redeemer. Jesus (his name means God saves/helps/deliver) lived, was executed by the Romans at the request of the Jews, and that God raised Jesus from the dead. Jesus is alive and will return. And that we have hope for eternal life.

We have four accounts of Jesus life, death, and resurrection. Jesus made only one request from us: Teach all nations. That is our purpose in life. We also have Epistles to help us. Remember the bible is a tool fo the believer, not a conversion manual.

Comments: You questions sounds like Calvin and election. Although that line of Christian thought might be useful, I would like to compare "chosen by the Lord" to an 8 oz class with 4 oz of liquid. Is the class half full or half empty? It is both. Yes the Lord chose us but we had to belief.

Now for your quote from God's eyes: "This is what the Lord asks of you; Only this, to act justly, to love tenderly, and to walk humbly with your God" Micah 6:8

Honey, I think God planned for you to be hear before you were even born. I know this sounds strange, but I believe everyone is here on this earth for a purpose. We may be here to bring joy to others, help someone out in a time of need, or just simply do something great that helps alot of people down the long road. When we've completed the plan God set out for us, then I think our time is up and he takes us home.

We are all here to glorify God. Read Exodus 20 for the Ten Commandments.

God knew you before you were born, while you were in your mother's womb.
Psalm 22:1-11
Isaiah 44:2

IN simple terms. The CREATOR of ALL THINGS made the SOULS of ALL THAT WAS and WILL BE from its OWN BODY. After the creation of the Physical Universe. and all that lives in it . a system of reincarnation was established as those souls that entered into the body's that were in existence then . forgot were they came from and how to leave the physical form. After the physical form dies. the soul is released and can choose to return or not to learn or teach whatever lessons that it thinks is appropriate in order to advance its understanding until it can rejoin the CREATOR again.

There's a lot more to this answer than can fit in this little box... But in a nutshell-

We are born, and live - to glorify God. It almost sounds like God is selfish - in that, we are to live for Him and not us. Many nominal or non-believers have a hard time with this. In all actuality, it's much the opposite of selfish.

Think about it: God wrapped himself in humanity, to pay a debt he did not owe, for a debt we could not pay. All He asks in return, is that we live for Him, honor and glorify Him, accept and love Him.

So, we are born and live, for God and His will. That is how we give the lives He gave us, back to Him.

Nobody comes to this earth "accidentally". Before you were in your mother's womb, God had already chosen you and your purpose in life. God has big plans for everyone and they all have a different purpose. God wants you to live a happy life full of blessings and abundance. He wants you to have a positive attitude and an attitude of gratitude even in your darkest hours. And by doing this and staying strong, faithful and joyous, you will start living the great life God has in store for you.

Most people, like Georgeewert, have a man-centered Christianity. Which is really not Christian at all.
Our purpose is to glorify God, period.
Should we love each other?yes. Should we love God? of course.
But even those things are simply the means of the greater end which is to bring glory to God.

Ecc 12:13 ¶ Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man.
Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Because mommy and daddy did it, no seriously there is no biblical reason exept God said to be fruitful and multiply,
It was written 5800 year ago by the geniuses of the time living in caves eating rats, the God of the old testament is responsible for Genocide(mass murder) of over 3 million people, read the book yourself and please decide not to teach your kids this hateful religion, if you do your just being ignorant, self centered and egotistical, oh ignore me you will, but just give it a second thought your eyes might just open, and you may be happier free from society brainwashing.

i know you only wanted a christian point of view, but if we were put here for a reason , if it was divine intervention that we were born for a purpose, then why do people kill? is that there purpose? and rape ? and drugs and alchohol?

what about incest?
same sex relationships?

can you look at all these things and BELIEVE that god put these people here for a reason?

the scriptures of the bible taught peace, but we fight in the name of god , nobody believes ...TRULY believes in god anymore
i dont thing god deserves to be worshiped if he can foresake his own divination and exempt these offenders from his great plan

i think all of the religions that worship 1 single lord and saviour , should stop and think about what they are doing , why they are worshiping a great nothing

if there was a god ,he failed

Our purpose is in serving God and knowing him. We have gotten away from that so much that is for the most part not understood in mainstream society.
Victor Frankl said "you do not find your mission in life... you detect it." You take the gifts and qualities God has given you and use them for him, and it is the greatest joy you can know.
Know God through others who love him, thorugh the Bible and through prayer and study - and watch God work in you and you life come alive in him, as only he can do.
