we go to school together, same class, she doesnt like to sit by me, (she may be shy around me ...not sure tho). last time she sat down beside me, we didnt talk for a while, but all of a sudden sure asked if i was cold. We talk mostly on msn, when we talk in person she often seem friendly but not flirty. when we just sit there, she tries to face the other way. often times she quite an open person sometimes....does she like me

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

If I were you, I would be honest and ask her. She seems to be giving you mixed signals. Try talking to her about the subject of the class you are in together. Ask her for pizza or to study... Anything! ;-) Surely you can think of some common interest. If she is talking to you on MSN, there has to be SOME interest, even if it is just platonic. Don't stress over it though. If she likes you enough, she'll tell you. When she is open with you about things, be open back. If she looks away, say something funny to make her smile! Girls can be complicated sometimes but someday you will understand them more! Good luck!

It's hard to say why not ask her? She might just be shy and find it easier to talk to you on msn or she might be embarassed that she thinks you might know so doesnt want to sit with you. Just ask theres no harm in it :)

she might, it's hard to talk face to face tho. on messenger you are better at expressing yourself without thinking about the other person's facial expression. ask her out.

i think she only likes you as a friend and she acts like that at school cause she might have a feeling that you like her and doesn't know how to tell you that she only wants to be friends.
