PetSmart and PetCo stores have these engraving machines where you can immediately choose a type of tag that you can engrave your phone number, the dogs name, a contact number etc on. They come in different colors, shapes and sizes. I have one for all three dogs.
They make some cute little charms I have seen at different pet stores or supply stores or groomers shops. I am sure there are plenty of places that sell things online but I like to look at what I am buying and I don't like to send anything in and wait a week or two to get it back.

My dog wears a buckle up black and white collar he used to have an ID tag on but he lost it. He and I also used to have a little charm that said "I love my dog" I unfortantly lost mine at the beach but he still has his, one of my cats also has a collor with fake diamonds which only cost $2.00 and my other cat has a black velvet collor.

my black pug actually wears a pink leather rhinestone collar with her rabies tag and her ID heart shaped tag, she also has a silver and rhinestone dog bone charm on her collar that my niece gave her.

she also has a micro chip implanted near her collarbone on the back which if she is ever lost they can scan her and it tells her owners etc

Yes. My kitty wears a little personalised collar thingy that has a red pawprint on one side and his name (Henry) and my mobile phone number on the other, just in case he gets lost.

My cats wear no collars - am too afraid that the collar might get caught in something and strangle the cat.

I wouldn't be game to attempt to put anything on my cat. He has an attitude as big as Texas and would draw blood every time if I were so stupid.
