serious question: my boyfriend said you r supposed to clean just inside your butthole when in the shower??

Does anyone actually do this?? he thinks your supposed to stick your finger up there just a little bit, to clean it????

what the hell? did anyone actually get taught this? or is this totally normal???

Just wanted to add that we both are NOT into anal sex so thats not why he is saying this... he is definatley totaly against going where the poo comes from.. :)

No; just washing the outside will eliminate odor and a majority of the bacteria. I'm pretty sure the reason he said that is maybe he wants to have anal sex with you; and his penis may get infected if your butthole's not clean, even with a condom on. That's the most probable reason. I've never been taught to do this; and it cleaning in such an area is very hard; you have many sensitive nerves in your anus; so one wrong move and you'll feel some pain. All in all, it's useless to do such a thing. I could go into details, but it's sorta sick.

Cleaning just inside the anus with soap probably shouldn't be a daily routine - the soap does make your butt sting. The usual reason for smearing soap up your anus is to relieve constipation - a finger-size soap suppository is very good for emptying the bowels.

I never heard about a self finger clean out, unless a doctor is giving a "rectal" exam and only with gloves.
That would make me a bit awkward, if I heard it come out from nowhere.

I've had heard people rinsing themselves with a shower sprayer, an enema, or "wipes" to clean any bio matter that was left behind.

Oh no! Stop i was washing my butt one day and accidently got a bit of soap up my anus and holy **** it stung like you wouldnt believe. its a sensitive area so watch it.

I usually wrap the wash cloth around the plunger handle,and put that up there. It works much better,and you don't have to walk around with a stink finger all day
