Good thing you brought this up. Al Gore is such a Douche Bag. I hope he gets hit by lightning while he cruises in his private jet. Global Warming is a fact that can't be denied. BUT the cause of global warming is a hot topic. Most ignorant bastards running around talking about we are the ONLY cause of global warming and nature has no effect are full of crap. The planet is 75% water so dont' you think some of the pollution might be coming from the ocean. I'm researched this topic and found that: In middle ages the temps were actually hotter then now, Sun has actually put out more energy in the last decade, Ocean can store massive amounts heat for over 10,000 years, even our galaxy has an effect on our climate, we've had 2 previous ice ages. I understand by pumping out pollution and cutting down large amounts of forest land isn't helping anything. But the actions of humans have a small effect if any, compared to the forces of nature that we don't even fully understand. The scientists who are pushing global warming have put all their faith on climate modeling computer programs which are no where near perfect. For example the program can't calculate at what point clouds turns into raindrops. Which you can admit is a big problem when dealing with the climate since rain is a big part of the equasion. I've also read that the higher levels of co2 in atmoshpere have actually helped plants on earth grow more rapidly and healthy which makes sense, since co2 is food for plants. People will attack me for saying that global warming is not caused by people as much as it is caused by nature. Do your own research but look hard you have to look through the bs to find the truth. Like in most other things.

The earth certainly has natural cycles of warming and cooling. It cycles between ice ages and hot ages over periods lasting thousands of years. Scientists have charted these cycles by studying layers in icecaps and sea floors. Even without human activity the earth would probably be warming up as it is still coming out of the last ice age. But it appears that we are warming up at a faster rate than happens naturally. The levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere are increasing at a rate that can only be explained by human activity namely mining and burning fossil fuels (oil and coal). And it is this carbon dioxide along with other pollutants which acts to slow the rate at which heat escapes from the earth.

In nature something always happens to reverse these heating and cooling trends. For example more carbon dioxide encourages more plant growth and some plants decay and deposit their carbon in the ground. But humans are cutting down forests faster than they can replenish. We are destroying the plants that could take carbon out of the atmosphere while at the same time pumping more into it from underground sources.

So yes I think that human activity is speeding up global warming in a way that the earth has not had to deal with before and it may be catastrophic.

Considering the earth has been obviously warming since the ice age and the relatively short period of time man has studied global warming in the history of the earth, I think it's pretty much guesswork as to how much is actually caused by man. We are having an affect on our air and atmosphere, but have we really figured this all out with less than 100 years of study compared the millions of years this earth has existed? I believe there is still a lot of theory in play.

Additional trapping of out going Sun's IR radiation from Earth by atmospheric greenhouse gases is called induced greenhouse effect leading to the global warming. Since anthropogenic activity is totally responsible for addtional GHGs to be released to the atmosphere, the global warming is certainly caused by humans.

you're incorrect that people contribute the main to worldwide warming. the variety a million green homestead gasoline is water vapor which makes up ninety 5% of all green homestead gases. This gasoline is ninety 4% organic with the aid of organic happening cycles that reason the clouds and rain fall. One solid wholesome volcanic eruption can spew greater greenhouse gases in some days then all of guy can in a three hundred and sixty 5 days. Then there is the decaying of plant life that releases greater green homestead gases. the main that guy contributes to greenhouse gases is 3% of the finished and that's being beneficiant with the different ninety seven% coming from organic components.
