It depends what you like. If you like programming or playing computer games etc, then you might choose computer science over electronics. If you like building circuits and making things work, then I'd strongly recommend electronics.

I can say that in Australia, there are currently too many computer programmers compared to the available jobs, whereas there is a current shortage in electrical engineers. So regarding job prospects, check the situation in your local country.

In embedded systems, most of the software engineers I've worked with have electrical degrees. Thus with an electrical degree you really have the potential to do both as you have to take several programming courses. I'm not familiar with computer science course work, but I don't think they do any electronics classes. It also breaks down to your sense of humor. CS people seem to have a strange sense of humor.

this is computer era.we are even answering this question through computer . a world without computer is not even imaginable.
but for the perfect working of computer electronics is needed.
hence electronics and computer engineers built up the world.
both the fields are not comparable.
each has its own quality and style.

If by best you mean the most available jobs, software engineering is projected to be the 2nd fastest growing field in the years ahead. I'm a comp sci major so I might be biased, but I think comp sci is the best major for people who want to be software engineers.
