does it mean that the girl is interested with the guy or is it just a random act of time kill? btw, both girls were smiling.

That's a good sign that a gal's interested. Though, I have to say, the one at the airline counter may have just been chatty. I know quite a few women who start intense conversations with cashiers (and it's might obnoxious).

For me I'm completely random with striking up conversations (haha). If you didn't know each other though maybe she did like you, or maybe she was just bored. As for the other sweater girl, if you weren't working there or didn't know her then I'd say she had the hots for ya. =)

yes its flirting they are shy too and want to talk to you but not sure what to say so its a random convo you can usually tell by the smiles and eye contact pay attention to eyes they never lie

It could be either way, but the way you solve this is to keep the conversation going... dont be overbearing or pushy but ask open ended questions... you will be able to tell.

maybe you're not really a dork. they could actually be interested. take a look at yourself and do a full inventory, girls could actually be looking at you as boyfriend material.
