In 1990 I broke up with my last girlfriend. I'm a jealouse type of guy & came to the realization that in order to love someone a person must love themselves & like what they do & where thay are at in life. The problem is I'm not there yet & don't know if I ever will be. It's getting pretty lonely lately. Please help me .

Don't feel bad. I'm 50 and am single. The women my age are
all married. I use to want to find somebody . I don't care anymore.
Just enjoy life. I still go out, have some women friends. Put yourself
in new places to meet new people. Most of the couples I meet
fight all the time. Might be better being single.

Your never going to be in that "perfect" place in life. Challenges are always thrown at you. The reason you get married or have a girlfriend is to have someone to go through those challenges with you so you don't feel alone. Your pretty old but hope is never gone. There are people in their 60's who get married. Main rule is Treat the women as you expect her to Treat you. Can't be jealouse, the way i figure if a girls going to cheat being jealouse is not going to help the situation any. Get out more.

you may be being picky because of age. you might be looking at women as sort of the Mrs. You. i think that you just need to let a little loose. go to bars, or where ever, and just be around some women. just remember that you don't have to marry them. don't tell your self it's a date.

start asking girls out for coffee to get back into the swing. it doesn't have to be anything serious. as you are dating you can continue to work on yourself and you'll be good and practiced up for the right woman. ;0)
