When some guys tells you that it means hes in love with you. Saying that is his way of telling you he wants to be more than friends. If you are not already in a relation ship with him he's telling you he wants to start one. If you are in a relationship with him he's telling you he wants to go father. Although you may not have feelings for him he's showing that he has feelings for you. It's up to you if you want to be with him or turn him down.

need more details. if you've only recently started dating him then i would say that he likes you but the relationship is too new for him to call you his girlfriend. if you've been with him for a long time and he's not calling you his girlfriend then it means he's not willing to commit to you and is keeping his options.
