Many people including myself hav looked into christanity but how can new people join a religon is their followers seem either sick or psychotic. Normal people dont tell others that we speak different languages because people tried to build a tower to heaven, and normal people certianly dont tell biologist that humans have magical souls that can be tortured after the body is gone.

How do you llike to be spoken to?

As for an answer, depends on what you define as normal.

well, i'd be satisfied if Christians would just quit proselytizing all the time, not be on a friggin mission to change and convert every one they meet. it's like they need the world to be a Christian fast food chain where they can know exactly what they're getting in their happy meal no matter where in the world they are. everyone has got to believe the same thing as they do, say the same things they do and do they same things they do in the same way they do it or they're not comfortable. Christianity is the McDonald's of religions.

but i guess it's kinda nice to be able to amble up to any fellow Christian and have automatically have something in common, something to chat about. Jesus ... the ultimate biggy fries you can share.

I think the only way for Christianity to survive is the Christians Being CHRIST-LIKE and stop being so critical and stop behaving like the very ones that charged, judged, and crucified Jesus.. Is it just me or is there a total lack of understanding and forgiveness here???

Not to mention love

If you get rid of all the crazy stuff like the Tower of Babel and Noah's Ark, you aren't left with much at all. You'd basically just have the teachings of Paul, which are far better than the rest of the Bible but nothing special.

Judging by the psychotic questions being asked by Christians tonight, I am going to have to agree with you. Great observation!
I'm not going to mention any names, but there are a few here who are absolutely nuts!

In my experience most christians are a bit psychotic, no acting lessons required.

Exactly..... The Bible (in my opinion) is just made-up stories to make people do good in life. It's Christians trying to scare people into believing them. Because, of course, they think the stories really happened and if we (non-christians) don't believe it, then we are going to a fire pitt of Hell for eternity. ...riiggghhhttt....

I think the biologists have more of a problem with them accepting that evolution is supported by mountains of evidence.
