Abraham, JC , and Mohamed were all born with in a pretty close distance of one another, especially by US standards. How much do you think this geographical closeness impacts on the 3 faiths and their relationship w/ one another? Is monotheism the rite way to go? Largely, I see monotheism as a consolidation of worship.

Shalom.

Well agree close distance but the time is totally different, but all Prophets PB U them including Moses and Jesus PB U them the called for Islam and monotheism but do you to interferences and manipulations by followers the Trinity and other believes came in.
Similar believes has been initiated in Islam but was defeated early like the cousin of Mohammad PB UH being as so, close to GOD or GOD .
So, it is the manipulations which has made the changes to these religions but Islam ALLAH has promised to protect Holly Quran from manipulations.

Well, they all worship the same God, and have the same prophets in common. It's believed that one religion arose from the last; God sent down the gospel to supersede the torah, and the Quran to supersede and correct the first two. God sent prophets around the world, but we only seem to know about those in the middle east region, perhaps they were the latest.

I think the majority of the world considers monotheism to be correct. I certainly do.

Islam, Christianity and Judaism are worlds apart. Are Jews or Christains taught in the "good book" that they have a right to beat their wives! Are they taught they can have multiple wives!

[17:4] We addressed the Children of Israel in the scripture: "You will commit gross evil on earth, twice. You are destined to fall into great heights of arrogance.
[17:5] "When the first time comes to pass, we will send against you servants of ours who possess great might, and they will invade your homes. This is a prophecy that must come to pass.
[17:6] "Afterwards, we will give you a turn over them, and will supply you with a lot of wealth and children; we will give you the upper hand.
[17:7] "If you work righteousness, you work righteousness for your own good, but if you commit evil you do so to your own detriment. Thus, when the second time comes to pass, they will defeat you and enter the masjid, just as they did the first time. They will wipe out all the gains you had accomplished."

[21:25] Not an apostle did we send before thee without this inspiration sent by us to him: that there is no god but I; therefore worship and serve me.

[39:65] But it has already been revealed to those before thee, If thou wert to join (gods with God), truly fruitless will be thy work , and thou wilt surely be in the ranks of those who lose.
