If your tanned your tan will fade and you will go back to your natural skin tone. Your not going to fade to a color lighter then what you were born with.

The human skin's response to sunlight is to produce more melanin (ie, make your skin pigment darker!) to protect it from the harmful UV rays.
The more you expose yourself to sun, the DARKER you will get.

no your pigmentation is fixed by the melanin in your skin............you will just BURN!!!!
