In ancient Athens men thought the highest Romantic Love was between an older and younger man. The women had to bond together on Lesbos where the poetess Sappho wrote. In Sparta six year old boys left there mothers and moved into the dorms where all males lived except to procreate. The sexes were very far apart there.

These people wrote about their lives, loves and social structure and in Athens and Lesbos.

uh, yes. homosexuality is something you are born with, according to recent studies. how much sense does it make that homosexuality would just "happen" all of a sudden out of nowhere at a certain point in time like just this last century if people are born with it? it's been around as long as heterosexuality. think about that.

um, Greece, Sodom and Gomorrah ? sodom- sodomy ? it was called that b/c men were having sex with other men in public in the streets. God didn't like it. I assume you are referring to this, since your question is in the religion section ? Gays won't like this, but the Bible, if you believe in this ( not accepted or popular these days ), says that there are many homosexuals, and that is a special challenge. It's not a sin to be one, just to practice it. The Old Testament is over 2K yearsold and it discusses homos.

Human beings have always been human beings, even when we were monkeys, meaning that nature can't be helped. Homosexuals have always been here and always will be here, and so will the rest of us that are not. So get over it and get along, it's a silly thing to be concerned about anyway.
