Sometimes it is the soap. Have you tried a soap like noxeema? After you clean your face it is good to get a couple of cotton balls dipped in a toner and go around your face. Clinique, witch hazel, rose water, and avon are good. After you use the toner, apply a light moisturizer that you can buy like oil of olay brand. A couple of times each week you need a scrub to texturize your skin. Olay and avon have a good one, or you can mix olive oil and sugar in your palm and exfoliate your face with that. I would end the zest as it is a shower type of soap and it may be clogging your pores and letting oils remain on your skin. Best of luck to you!!

I am at school and we recently had a dermatologist come give a talk on facial care... She recommended that you follow these 3 steps:
1. Cleanse (with a cleanser suited to your skin type)
2. Tone (with a toner)
3. Moisturise (use a oil-free moistuiser)

The reason you shouldn't use soap on your skin is because it will most probably dry it out. The skin on your face is a lot more sensitive than skin on other parts of your body, which the soap is made for. However, you do get specially formulated bars of soap for your skin (e.g. Clinique) which should work just as well as a regular cleanser.

Hope I helped

Stop with the soap completely... The skin on your face is completely different than the skin on your body... If you have oily skin washing twice is okay, but once a day at night is just fine. Try a product that is geared toward your skin type, (oily, dry or normal) make sure you use a good moisturizer too... an astrigent is not always necessary either. A couple of really good skincare lines are Origins and/or Clinique.

Try cutting down to only washing your face at night. That is when your skin has the most oil on it. Also, bar soap is not necessarily made to wash your face with. It's very harsh, used for getting dirt off of your body, not for getting oil off of your face. Second, using a bar of soap will dry out your face tremendously. What you should do is wash your face at night, and then apply an oil control facial moisturizer. This will help with the oils on your face, but also keep your face moisturized.

Maybe it is drying your skin out to much? Or the soap is clogging pores, I would use a scrub (St. Ives Appricot scrub Medicated) then a face mask (Montagne Jeunesse 5 minute face tonic) Those two work wonders, and allow your skin to breath. You can buy both at Walmart. And if that doesnt work I would invest in proactiv (It really works) I use that now and I havent had a break out since I started using it and that was about 3years ago.

Zest is too strong to use on your face. You can wash your face twice a day if you want to, just use a mild facial cleanser.

I've had severeskin issues. Frankly, I use Biorre patches then clean up with rubbing alcohol. However, I don't ussually recommend the rubbing alcohol to others. I believe it'll age your skin dramatically, and I'm certain you don't want that. Try the Biorre Facial Mask. I think you'll be pleased

Does the CVS cleanser have mineral oil in it?
Probably does...so your adding oil to acne...not good.
Zest isn't good either ..dries out your skin.
You need Arbonne skin care. My daughter loves it. She was using proactive, and it cleared her zits but dried her out. ARbonne's Intelligence skin care set worked great and leaves her skin soft and moist.
You can order from http://www.arbonne.com. you'll need to enter a consultant Id. Mines 16459642 They ship straight to your house.
Might seem pricey...but will last you about 9 months.

try the 3-step system from clinique for a while... my son started using it and, after a couple weeks he was even able to stop taking his acne meds... we tried tons of different things, and this really worked best. the soap is gentle, the toner feels really good (and gets all the extra icks out of your pores) and the moisturizer soaks in fast and feels great... use morning and night and don't forget... consistency is key.

good luck!

no longer something incorrect with bar cleansing soap. except you stepped forward some style of specific hypersensitivity, it relatively is probably purely hormones now which you're a teenager. communicate on your surgeon next time you go, they could get you meds or discover out if something's incorrect. could additionally be undesirable ingesting behavior, like a foodstuff ordinary including basically chocolate, yet i think of it is likewise unlikely.
