I have always wondered about that. I think you read my mind. You know for all his talent he never really went out of his way to fight the good fights. There were a lot of good fighters in the middleweight, super middleweight, light heavy weight divisions or a very good fight at crusierweight. He never fought rematches, its just a shame he could have been so much greater. This would have been a great fight. They are both cutesy fighters so who knows to close to call.

what I would like to ask you is I wonder why he didn't fight as a welterweight, when he first started his career.

Jones would have killed him. Chris byrd has no punch. Hes not a good fighter. He never beat anyone good. I looked at a comment saying jones has no defense. Thats funny. Hes one of the hardest guys to hit maybe in the history of boxing. He fought vinny paz and paz went a whole round without being able to land a single punch on him. He uses his speed and moves to avoid being hit.

I favor Byrd also. Roy has a very limited defense, and if Chris catches him with one good shot the fight is over.

This bout is so boring that the fighters themselves decide to give the public their money back.
