Good choices:
-Subway: best choice, 6" sub-turkey or vege, etc.
-McD/BK/Wendy's: salad, light dressing
-Pack some string cheese, nuts (not too many), whole wheat bread, turkey, etc.

Actually man its cheaper to eat healthy, unless you go to one of the "healthy" restuarants where they charge you $20 bucks for a salad. Fruits vegatables are cheap and healthy for you. You can make a fruit salad or a regular salad, sandwich is a good way to go. Eating fast food a lot is very bad for you. So its not a good way to go even though it may be cheap.

I would go with fish and chicken, broiled or baked.
Lots of vegtables
A small amount of starch.(bread, pasta, potato).
For instance: Brown a chicken breast on both sides, transfer to a bake pan, add 1 diced tomato, then put in a 350 degree oven, put a meat thermometer in the chicken breast.
While chicken is cooking, saute' 1/4 cup diced onion
drain.
In the same saute' pan saute' 1/2 cup of mushrooms.
Pour both over the tomatoes and chicken breasts, add 2 tblsp red wine vinegar, sprinkle with garlic salt and onion salt.
While chicken cooks, make rice or pasta or potato. If you are cooking for one, and don't need a whole potato, bake the potato slice in half lengthwise and lightly top with breadcrumbs, and a small amount of grated cheese.
Save the second half, for your next meal.
For desert, a scoop of sorbet' or of low fat ice cream topped with canned or fresh fruit.
A tblsp or two of Kalua helps also.

Buy a huge bag of already cooked grilled chicken strips (that you store in the freezer and then microwave them when you make food) from Costco or any supermarket place.
With those chicken strips, you can put them on salads, or put refried beans/chicken on tortillas, or here's my favorite.. get large romaine lettuce leaves, put a trail of caesar dressing in the middle of the leaf and put chicken strips on it too (you'll have yourself a wrap)!
Good cheap eats, very healthy, and easy to make! :)

even in trad fast food joints like burger king and mcd's...u can find healthy alternatives.
stick w/salads w/GRILLED chicken and low-fat dressing (or if u use the full fat version, just use a lesser amount).
u could also order GRILLED chicken sandwiches w/o mayo (or just a smidge of mayo if u really need it).

take things with you from home. carry a lunchbox. they come in different materials than they used to years ago. you could put yogurt, cheese and crackers, fruit, veggies and healthy sandwiches in there. of course, i'm sure you know to take an ice pack along with you.
