As long as you are cool with it, why not? I don't think oiling up someone with baby oil is such an odd fetish. At least he doesn't want to slather you in ketchup.

No. The very fact that you are asking tells me that you aren't comfortable with the idea, so don't do it. It sounds like you've got a guy who wants you to be his little sex possession as opposed to someone he loves that he wants to make love to. You should worry about fetish behavior. 20 plus years and the sex never got dull until we were no longer interested in each other as people; you don't need odd behaviors to keep it interesting.

Every time someone uses the word fetish, others assume its bad or wrong. As long as noone is getting hurt or doing something they don't want to, where's the problem?

First of all, he needs to have a little more respect for your likes and dislikes.
Secondly, if he is using a condom (and I hope he is), he should know that baby oil (or any oil-based lubricant) has the potential to react with the latex and weaken it to the point of breaking it. If you allow him to use it, please be careful.
