I have these 2 big moles on my face (as well as other little ones) but they are dark like black n i can get them removed these summer holidays if i want.. The trouble is that my boyfriend of 5 years doesnt want me to get them removed cos he thinks "they jst add to what i love about u" and "but it would jst b different when i look at u cos i always look into ur eyes n face n im used to seeing that n i dont want it to change"... Arhh but i wana get this done im trying to do what i think is right.. It would make me feel better about myself but at the same time i really value his opinion as he always knows whats best for me.. What do i do :(

I feel you should get them removed. These can be done using cosmetic surgery and I guess there's homeopathic treatment also available. For your boyfriend, try putting on artificial moles if he likes them too much. I would have loved it too, if u had that on the tip of your nose, I am serious, not joking.
Have a nice day!!!

Girl leave your face alone. The moles are probably not even that big. Taking a mole off your face won't change the way you feel about yourself, loving yourself will change the way you feel about yourself. As women we are always (and I mean always) going to have something that we won't like about ourselves but we learn to deal with it. Your boyfriend even told you that he likes it, I mean what more...now if you all break up and you still feel that way then go for it. Do what makes you happy but remember that it all comes from within first.

Apparently there's no health risk invlved, so it's simply a matter of vanity. If you've gone so far as to query the web, then you're gonna do it anyway. You're just looking for validation to harp back at your boyfriend with. On the other hand...Your boyfriend is saying "they make you look pretty" is like when he says "No. Those jeans don't make you look fat" Look, I'm not trying to piss you off, but, things like this are a minefield for a guy to talk about with his girl. So just go get them froze off already. It's relatively cheap, no scaring and you can't tell afterwards. A friend of mine had it done. Nobody noticed, but herself self-esteem and confidence soared afterwards. Best-o-luck.

if they make you feel really self conscious, then have your boyfriend go to the doctor with you. but also keep in mind, that removing them may cause scarring which could make you more self conscious than having the moles you already have now. another thing to ask your doctor though, is if your moles look 'suspicious' at all because moles are certainly something that you have to keep an eye on for changes in growth, colour, etc. due to cancer cells (not to freak you out or anything!) but that is reason alone to remove them...just something you may want to discuss with your doctor. ;)

as a man i can say that moles in the right places can make wemon frickin HOT.
but thats just me.
hopefuly he can make you feel good about yourself no matter what you look like. if not he isent doing his job as a man.
on the other hand, if this is something that you just do not like about yourself he should be man enough to want to make you happy.
its something that only you and him can really decide.
if he is a real man he will love you either way
moles are hot.

if u really want to do it then do it but explain to him why u really want it done because if u do it behind his back, even though he most likely wont break up with u, he'll resent u for a long time and think that u dont value his opinion

moles can be cute. Back in old days they used to be called "beauty marks". But I have seen really ugly moles too.
But the bottom line is you do what you want. It is your body--and what bf thinks does not matter one iota:)

you have to do what is best for you! that said, if his opinion means that much to you, have him go to the Dr. with you and let him ask the Dr. some questions. Maybe his fears will go away and you can both be happy

It's best to have them removed by a doctor.

If you will better about yourself, then do it and don't worry about what will your boyfriend will say. If he really loves you, he will stay with you and support you no matter what your decision you make, it is not extreme and medically necessary.
