So there's this guy in one of my classes at school who's about 4 years older than me. And I really like him because he's really nice and everything (a little shy), and I kind of want to like as him out or at least show i'm interested but i'm really shy. I don't know if he likes me or anything or if I have a chance, let alone how to approach him. I can't even think of a way to start an interesting conversation.

well if you know him and really like him youll never know if you dont ask, youll go through life wondering 'what if' if you two dont really know each other time to get a new friend and again youll never know if you dont even try

the next time u in class hit him hard with somethin a book just hit him
and tell him i just wanted to hit u coz u so cute and walk away

I'm just guessing here but if this guy is in your class and he is 4 years older than you he must be as dumb as a cucumber.Got held back a few years or something.

A good way to approach someone is to introduce yourself. Say hi my name is this, how's it going, what classes are you taking, it's a beautiful day, are you with someone, etc. Compliment that person alittle. If you see that this guy likes you, ask him what's your favorite food,music,whatever. And if it all goes well, ask the dude out! It feels good to help people!!!

aww best of luck to you girl, sounds very hollywood. and like you have thought about this for a very long time. how would YOU want to be approached? talk to his friend, or a friend of yours who's more outgoing who will talk to his friend to tell him you like him. does he play sports? make it known you go to his games, and write his number on your cheek to support him every time you go! thats how I met my husband, find out where he hangs out. does he go ice skating? is he a bar fly? " show up" with friends of course, so u dont look obvious, and appear AVAILABLE .. one of the biggest reasons guys avoid girls is because they always appear unavailable.
