No. Jesus would not have done that. But when He returns a second time He will do more than "blow them away..." His activity will be as such to destroy His enemies and the enemies of His people.

ONE guy almost got it right. the first time He came in peace. when He returns, it will be to kill everyone who stands against Him and God- just like in Noah's time, except the earth won't be flooded. THE BEST example of this is in Reelation, when so many are slaughtered, that the blood is as deep as the bridles on the soldier's horses. Everything is going according to God's plan, their time will come.
Jerry Falwell does have a screw loose, though.
