I think you have your facts mixed up. Very mixed up. Get on Wikipedia and research Protestant Reformation.

For Luther's reformation, the answer is a. Indulgences. - the most immediate issue. However many other things not even in your list had just as much importance if not more.

From what I recall of my studies all are good answers except for one. "f" would not be considered a good answere by most scholars, because of time and place differences.

Your problem here is that the reformation was not organized so the time and place of any action was a reaction the local climate or a local reaction to the general climate, but in any case it could involve any of these, except "f".

Luther for example reacted to most all of these at one time or another.

I'm not sure why you are asking, but these are all symptoms of a more fundemental problem, namely that the Church was not meeting the needs of the people to have a realtionship with God. The church was distancing people from God rather than drawing them close to Him. Those who "served" in the church were using the church to serve themselves instead of God's people. They wanted people to be dependant on them rather than God. Direct dependnace on God robbed them of power/money.

This was perhaps John Hus's big complaint and why he put scripture into the language of the people. He was serving God and God's people not himself or selfish ambition. He did not see scripture as a power to withold from people, but rather a power to share with people, but he was serving God...not himself.

I hope this helps.

Abuse of Power. The Catholic Church asking for $ to get peoples loved ones out of purgatory (when really they used the money to build the church in Rome)
