you are looking at the screen so as long as you have a clear view it is OK. they are trying to look into the little box to see how those things got in there and where they went when the scene changes. You understand TV and the real world around you in a way tat small children have not yet learned.

Childrens vision isn't as good as ours. My optomitrist told me that 20/40 is considered normal for a 5 year old. It improves as they get a little older. If your kids are older then this, or exhibiting any other symptoms of poor vision, take them in for a routine screening.

not too sure though i did exactly the same when i was little..n strangely used to sit with my head tilted back and my gob open hehe..i blame it on the fact i had dodgy eyes,i wear glasses now and fortunatly the habit has stopped..dont think im going to live this addmission down somehow xx

the kids eyes are developing
blueberries and kelp / seaweed veg helps the eyestrain of being too close, but have the fruit at a separate meal to the veg

well little kids have a harder time focusing on things far away like it or not thats why most kids have to get glasses at a younge age it helps them to teach themselves to focus on objects farther away. and little kids can see colors more vibrantly when there right up close

b/c if they sit back then too many other things are in the viewing area and cause them to not be able to pay attention to the tv program. too many other things to see, hear, and touch and smell. and they dont have that much control of their senses yet.

Possibly because they didn't hear you when you told them to get back.
Have their little ears checked.
