My dad has been blind since birth. He does not see dreams. People that have become blind over a period of time have mental images and know what some things look like. They can see their dreams

If they have always been blind, they would have no reference of sight to apply to their dreams. They can however, apply shapes and textures to their dreams and perhaps even shades of color. Emotions can probably take a form that would be completely foreign to us.

yes because dreams don't require physical vision.
the blind are still capable of mental vison or using their "imagination"

Not sure, but, I guess they hear what they see?

they can if they were not blind all their lives, if they were born blind then they wont.
