Here's a thought, save some money and pounds by cutting out the Christmas cookie social, take the food baskets off the list of things to give, and call your local hospitals for a volunteer dietician who can teach these over weight people how to eat properly. You can't reward people for losing weight. They aren't dogs learning new tricks. These people are either dedicated and want to lose the pounds or they don't...it's rather simple.

By the way, this is the worst way to ask for donations or sponsorship...there are far greater woes in the world that need more attention than someone who can't put down a twinkie!

Hmm, what's the money you raise going to be spent on? If it's something I agree is worthwhile, I will sponsor you 10p, not a lot granted, but I am not rich, and anyway if everyone on here sponsors you the same amount, you will get thousands of pounds.
