My grandfarther and i are verry close and he has a heart proublem. th doctor said he may die soon and that he ould live anwhere from 6 day's to 6 years, but im the only one in my family who hasnt cried yet and him and i used to be so close. Why am i not in tears about this?

This has happened to me. We all react in different ways and at different speeds. Just go with your feelings and do not feel guilty about this. I suspect when he does die you may be the one the most broke up.

Maybe because 6 days to 6 yrs could apply to a lot of people. He could live for a long time yet. Enjoy the time that he is here. Cry when he is gone,

You're not in tears yet because he's still alive. Enjoy what time you have left with him. Make wonderful memories. They will help you get through the grief when he does die. When he passes away, your tears will flow.

Everyone deals with things diffrently dont get upset about the fact u havent cried. You may not, u may deal with it a different way or once he does pass away

When we found out that my father was dyeing of Cancer my son didn't not cry for a long time some people grieve diffident than others don't worry about it. when it happens you will cry but remember all the good times you had with him.

Maybe your still in shock about it and subconsciously you don't want to realize that someone you care about is dying.

It will hit you and it will hit hard. Goodluck, seek comfort with other loved ones that are also going through it.

It could take a while to sink in. You know the facts but you haven't really absorbed in what life without you grandfather could be like.
