Sometimes if you sleep a long time without moving can make your reflexes slow down. If it is chronic or extreme,it could be a pinced nerve in your neck. Severe hypothyroism can also affect your reflexes and cause numbness in your extremities upon awakening.

Brother I know exactly what your saying , a valid question that used to bother the hell out of me I assume that your young ? I can remember it though no matter how hard you try to clench your fist you can't I really do not know what causes it but I'm 33 and it seem's to be something you grow out of , but I do remember it , try as hard as you possibly can and it just feels so weird you just can't ?????

its very common i feel that sometimes
i think its due to lack of enuf sleep coz when i sleep well i dont feel that
