i have used crest white stips before and they worked pretty well without any sensitvity. I also once had my teeth whitened professionally and had a allergic reaction that was pretty bad. i dont want that happening again and be worse.
But seeing different articles i see there is also gosmile..which is supposed to be really good. Anyone have comments comparing the two? or has used gosmile before?

The in-dentist office whitening and their take home quits prove to be way to strong, and almost always cause tooth sensitivity. In my own experience I thought I was going to have to pull out all my teeth by hand just to stop the pain (got a take home kit from my dentist). The Gosmile system, seems very effective..according to the personal testemonials..but I take those with a grain of salt. I'm sure that there are peopl who don't make the cut and have some bad things to say.
Gosmile also seems exspensive, but it offers a maitenance system to keep the white so it seems okay.

Slate magazine did a segment and by far the best and most cost effecrtive for the guy who bought and tested out a bunch of different kits, was the Crest white strips.

I can't find any bad reviews on Go smile, and honestly most people say their teeth maintain a nice white for atleast 10 months. So 120.00 wouldn't be so bad if that one kit will keep you happy for so long.

I'd try Gosmile..it seems more long term. Good luck

When comparing tooth whitening systems be sure to check the level of Carbamid peroxide. This is the active ingredient and higher levels can cause gingival irritation and sensitivity. I think the regular strength crest white strips are around 12% or so and up around 17 or 18% is generally ok for most people. Everyone is different so see what levels you can take.

Commercial tooth whiteners use hydrogen peroxide and
are expensive and inconvenient. A cheap and natural
tooth whitening home remedy uses few strawberries
but certain precautions have to be taken.
