slimey, non-thinking piece of sludge that eventually grew legs, walked out of the water, evolved into a monkey, and eventually became human?

I am truly amazed at how many people believe this to be fact. It's mind-boggling to me. It's just obsurd.

People who believe this are believing something much more absurd than anything else they themselves can think of. A single Creator is now even thought to be the only answer by most of the scientist because of the outlandish notion that we evolved from some kind of monkey. Not only that, the idea that life being created by chance is so remote it cannot even be calculated. As smart as we humans think we are now, we cannot do that.

While I do not believe that we all evolved from a piece of dirt, we were all once cell at one time. Evolution does happen. It takes place daily. Animals - and humans - are constantly evolving for the changing world around them. No one can deny that. It is possible to live in both worlds, you know. Believe in Creation and Evolution, as the first has all ready happened, and the second continues to work.

Even the most primitive forms of life were much more complex than a slimy piece of sludge. Have you any idea how amazingly organized a single cell, or even furthermore, a beautiful strand of DNA is?

If you look at a monkey or even a bacterium and see nothing but a detestable creature, you have no appreciation for Life or respect for these amazing things that may have been created by God.

Me....

Easier and more probable than some "being" that is not human creating the world in seven days, then condemning 4/5 of the planet because they don't believe that Christianity is the "truth" and that homosexuals should be allowed to marry and women don't have the right to choose....

See, I can keep going on with this like you all continue to ask these asinine questions that you know nothing about....but I'll save my knowledge and discussion for someone that wants to ask a real question and not just start s***.

It is false full of holes and clung to as religiously as possible watch out you'll get hate mail for posting this because this is some thing though never proven that we never question.
We will never get any where not asking questions. That is what science is all about.

It is science's best guess, and what little evidence we have supports it. The other theory has no evidence and yet very popular. We should consider both theories open. We can believe what we want, but we should be informed of each.

You skipped a lot of steps there, plus humans did not evolve from monkeys, they evolved from a common ancestor to the monkey.
And for the Jewish-Christian-Muslim creationists out there, it was the creation of the religion, not humankind that the scripture refers to. (where do you think Seth and Cain got their wives from?)

Anyone with an understanding of the basics of evolution.

It makes more sense than a supernatural being creating her whole, as an adult in a garden.
