This is not such an uncommon problem, so you shouldn't be ashamed. The biggest problem arises for guys is that they treat girls like some high and mighty creatures, when men and women are equal in every sense They create a mental image in their mind that ‘she is so pretty or she is so sexy. My God! What do I say to her, I’ll get embarrassed’ These are some of the things all of us think. You like a girl, be cool around her, try not to sound needy and desperate. Start with common questions of her likes/dislikes, studies/job, friends/family. Remember everybody prefers to be heard rather than listen. The most successful people are those who can listen to other people and share their problems rather than rambling about their life all the time. You do this and I guarantee she will be impressed. Whereas the romantic stuff is concerned, don’t worry, as you progress further in a relationship the heavy-duty stuff will pave its own way. The more comfortable she becomes with you, the better chance you have of going to the next level with her. So best of luck to you friend.

Ask her about herself. Questions lead to dialogue. And this way it wont be meaningless banter. You will find out right away if this person is worth continuing a conversation with. Good luck.

Great question. It is probably better to ask them a question and let them talk. Girls love to talk. It is one of the worst things about being young. What the hell could you possibly have in common. Probably nothing.

Try music, T V shows or if she is in one of your classes ask about class work even if you know the answers but don't let on that you don't need help play dumb but not too dumb.

if you ask me i would just be myself if you run out of stuff to say before you talk to her think of nice to say COMPLIMENT they like compliments ask her what she like to do for fun ,hobbies.... good luck......
