I have 15 tattoos, and I would like to point out that I am not "trashy," "tacky," "slutty," or any other nasty word you would like to use to describe a female that has tattoos.
And I'm just as womanly as any other woman out there.
I really don't care what anyone has to say about my tattoos. I love them, and I will continue to get more!
Thanks.

Gee that is not sexist...all of you that respond none or 1. So guys can have 100's and girls should not have any??
I agree w/somebody 147 but then again if a girl has a whole sleeve done that could be one tattoo. I am a mother to two wonderful boys, active in church and PTA and have several tattoos on my body. Yes I have them in spots that under most things can be covered up but if someone is not going to like be because of the art on my body...I don't want them to be my friend anyway.
If they are so shallow minded to think I am trashy and slutty or whatever other 'labels' you would like to place on someone w/tat's then I would rather them just not even pretend to be my friend. I have what I have because I think they are beautiful and in 50 years I won't care as long as I am here watching my children and grandchildren grow up then that is all that matters in life.
To all you judgemental ppl go join a small club and label and hate everyone...really you should all be limited to one state. So the rest of the country can live free.

I think it depends on the girl, and also on the tattoo(s) I know one girl who only has one, but it is extremely oversized and was done by her boyfriend with a homemade gun one night while they were bored, it looks quite tacky, so for her, that one is too many. But on the other hand, another girl I know has about a dozen (give or take a few) but they are all professionally done and although they are all various sizes, none of them are too large, and they all tie in with each other as far a "theme" goes, so when seeing them all together it looks really cool

i don't think there should be a limit on how many anyone can or SHOULD get because it is personal expression and can only be judged by the person getting them. yes i know ppl can see them too but when put in the right spots and done professionally they can be personal art for life. My mother-in-law just got one on her neck of a rose and she turned 65...and by the way it looks awesome and she's a receptionist at a insurance company. just remember being tattooed is personal and we should not judge anyone based on appearance. good luck

That is something the individual should decide. Women have been getting tattooed pretty much as long as men have except now it is more out in the open.

There shouldn't be a limit on how many tattoos a girl has because everyone has a choice. Everyone is induvidual and that's a good thing(to me).
Hope I Helped!

what difference does it seriously make if the girl is happy with them then they shoul;d get as many as they want.
im a female and i have 3 biggish ones i dont regret it and i dont hate myself for getting them.
i find them to be a way of releasing stress and tension and i plan to get many more.

i don't think i girl should have a limit on tattoos. its a great way of self expression.
just like guys....they don't need a limit on tattoos, so why should girls?
its their body, if somebody else doesn't like it, its their problem.

147. if i had to pull a number out of the air. different girls like different things and some girls are beautiful with tattoos and aren't skanky or trashy or stupid or easy or illiterate or drug users or any of the other negative stereotypes that small minded people throw out there. i have tattoos and love them and have plans for more. if you don't like them... don't look at them

as many as you feel is acceptable to you, look at you values and body and you decide you are the one who has to see it everyday and the general public will just have to live with that
