You could have a kidney infection. That is one of the symptoms. Start drinking plenty of water and real cranberry juice (health food store) for a day or so and see if it goes away. Sometimes if you don't drink enough water your kidneys get overtaxed trying to process the waste material your body accumulates. If no improvement in 2 days get to the doctor. Kidney infection is nothing to fool around with they can knock you for a loop if not treated.

could be a kidney infection or stone.

for a kidney stone, you may have some of the following symptoms:

- Severe, constant pain in your side, abdomen, groin, or genitals.
- Blood in your urine.
- Signs of a urinary tract infection.

if do have those symptoms, you should call your doctor immediately, you MAY have a kidney stone.

you may also be dehydrated. depending on the medicine, it may be the culprit. have you noticed if you urine is darker than normal. try drinking more (water, not soda, coffee, etc.). when you take the medicine, try to drink about a glass for water. that should help keep you hydrated, and it will be good for you anyway if you are sick.

if you still have the pain in a couple days, you should go see your doctor. they'll be able to tell you more about what is going on than anyone here (they can actually see you and perform tests). and get feeling well soon!

You need to see a doctor right away! Sound like a kidney infection or a kidney stone.

If it is either you can get very bad very quickly!

I had back pain in kidney area and fever. Thought it was flu. Was waiting it out. I barely made it to the hosp in time. I had kidney stone, kidney infecting, bladder infection, pneumonia, pleurisy, and blood poisoning. Kidney trouble can really effect your entire body. The kidneys are filters that clean the blood.

Kidney infections come from a variety of places. You can get them from taking a tub bath, caused by the bacteria on your own skin that gets into he water. You sex partner is not really, really clean when you have sex. Oral sex particularly if your partner does not brush his teeth right before. Reaction to the soap your under wear were washed in. In sort anything ta ht touches you down there that i snot really clean. If your immunity, like with a cold, is down you are very susceptible to infections.

Kidney stones can be caused by not drinking enough water. WATER not pop or juice. WATER

See a doctor right away.

If you think you are getting a kidney infection, start drinking water and cranberry juice. You can also take Azo. More than likely if you are hurting your body is developing an infection.

Probably a pulled muscle, but to be safe, check urine. IF dark, or a somewhat deep amber color, you need to see your doctor as you may be a bit dehydrated or there could be other problems . If urination is difficult, painful or too frequent or you have pain and any or all of the above, seek medical treatment immediately. In the meantime, drink plenty of clean water, and for the kidneys, cranberry juice as well, drink lots of it. The cranberry juice is actually good for your kidneys. But if pain persists or worsens, please see your doctor.

I had pain like that and thought it was something to do with my kidneys. Went to the doctor and he poked me various places around my ribs and said Does that hurt? and it did. Turned out to be costochondritis - inflammation of the cartilage between the ribs.

i guess it depends on what medication you are on!! keep a close eye on the pain!! its possible that it is a kidney infection, but sometimes your menstration cycle can cause lower back pain!!
