Funny how that changes...when we are teenagers..they can do no right....then as soon as we hit adulthood...we see them in a whole different light...i think its because we can now see what they did for us....how hard they worked for us...and truly how much they love us. Parents are amazing!

Maybe because as we get older we appreciate what they did to raise us. At the age of 50 I am totally in awe of my 86 year old Father (who when I call-still asks me if I need anything!) And when I'm having a bad day I call my Pops cause I still need him and he just makes me feel better by saying "well Kid, no matter what happened today, the sun's gonna come up tomorrow"

It works that way...it takes growing up & becoming a little more mature to realize how important our parents are to us. We finally reazile that they always had our best interest at heart and did the things they did because of their love for us. Be happy that you have this kind of relationship with your parents.

I'm experiencing this right now. I moved out 6 months ago and thought it would be the best time of my life. I'm just starting to realize that life really is f**kin difficult.

You are always going to need your parents for the rest of your life. They will always be there for guidance. Just remember take care of them when it is their time as well. They too will need you someday. LL.
