Background for the Question: We are discussing this question in my sociology of religion class, as we are trying to pinpoint what female icon Jesus would feel most worthy of. Please give your answer and explain why.

Explanation of the Question: If God ordained sex as something that is good, and Jesus was the son of God who was obedient to his Father it is reasonable to conclude that Jesus would have had sex during his time on earth. The question here is asking who would Jesus procreate with and why.

Examples: Mother Teresa, Brittany Spears, Ann Coulter, Stacy Keibler, Hillary Clinton, etc.

Well, since Jesus is supposed to be God, and God impregnated Mary, then I suppose he impregnated his own mother with himself. But, sex wasn't involved there.

I'd say Mary Magdalene - though I don't even know for sure that he existed, so...

I don't know. I always thought he'd be to busy to get married, and he wouldn't procreate out of wedlock. And when you say procreate we'll assume you're including the creation aspect too.

I don't think she'd be anyone special, just whoever he'd choose to marry I guess. Does it matter?

I think it's an interesting question. But I don't know if limiting it to icons would be accurate.
Another question is: What would the media do if Brittany Spears or Mother Theresa had the son of the Son of God? (j/k)

This is a good question. Honestly, I want to know what is your professor's intention of asking this question. You mentioned "If God ordained sex as something that is good, and Jesus was the son of God who was obedient....etc" Certainly, Jesus is the son of God, but Jesus is the second person of the trinity which is God himself. So, It is He, Jesus, who is God, who granted sex to human being. Again, we have to know what makes the sociology class asked such question. If we know the intention we probably can make appropriate approaches to the question. Thank you

I have heard things said about this subject to I'll repeat it to you! I have been told, but can't beleive it, Jesus had children by many women in his day. The first was Mary Magdeline, you know, the woman he saved from being stoned. She went to his home & met his Mother. Mary & Joseph also had another child, a Son. How true would this be? Let me know what your teacher says about this please.

Jesus would be with the average, hardworking, and caring women, No celebrity would ever work for him. By the way, how come two of your examples are male (Coulter, Clinton)?
