What religion do I belong to? Say my father is a christian and mother is muslim what do I belong to? It is very obvious religion doesn't exist but that doesn't mean god doesn't exist. If I'm a true christian I wouldn't hate a muslim or have resentment on them. Jesus or Buddha never wanted to create a religion. All their teachings were valuable. Why don't we take the good teachings from religion and make use of it than being mind identified "proud" for one religion. Back to my question, if someone really wanted to know what my religion is I would say, "Muslianity". Or should I?

Do not be of "religion", but faith. "I am the TRUTH and the LIFE"

That's easy: you're neither. If you know what transgendered people are, you might adopt "transfaithinal" or something like it. But any attempt to marry Christianity and Islam is doomed. In order to make the two faiths compatible, you will have to cut out huge chunks of at least one of them. You cannot simultaneously believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that God has no son. Nor can you hold at the same time that Jesus Christ died on the cross and that He did not die at all. Sit on that fence and you'll wind up with a post up your bum. And again, if you are just going to take bits and pieces of each one, then you are obviously neither.

If you are a true Christian you most certainly would not hate or resent a muslim....

I'm not a big believer in cherry picking from different religions. I believe there is only one truth, that truth is the fact that Jesus Christ is the Savior. Christianity is truth, God's word is truth...all other "religions" are impostors and frauds and are of the liar.

I think you could be interested in what Karen Armstrong has to say about Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. She calls herself a freelance monotheist.. taking the best beliefs and practices from those four religions. Look her up on Amazon, you might like what you read.

Anyway, just remember that your religion is only between you and God, ultimately. It doesn't matter what other people think or say. You answer only to God.

Simply tell them Humanism for it is the core of Islam and Christianity. If you must fill in a form that compartmentalizes your religion, just choose any and smile when taking your favorite juice. Your conscience will be clear.

Just believe in the creator, that's all that matters! Religion now is more about sides then what they should be focused on! For example, being good and understanding people!

I think 1st, ask yourself what you personally believe...Are there elements of both Xianity & Islam in your beliefs? Are there other elements as well? Take a look, and in the end you can always say to describe it...Abrahamism? The Abrahamic faith(s)...and then, as a subtitle, my beliefs are deeply tied to Xianity & Islam. :)

Just for fun, and as a springboard to begin evaluating your beliefs, try the...Belief-o-Matic!

An interesting approach, but all the kooks who say their religion is the only religion will probably find all sorts of ways to "justify" doing mean things to you.
