If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

I have had severe acne during my lifetime and still see a dermatologist. I am 42 yrs old. After a lot of experience, I believe the best thing for acne is to wash your body in an antibacterial soap such as dial or safeguard. In the summer time, expose your skin to the sun. Sunshine makes the acne go away. In the winter time, I reccomend a tanning bed. A tan clears your skin up even though this will get negative results because it also causes skin cancer.
If I get a large zit, I squeeze it out and dab it with an alcohol pad. I wash my face at least 2 times a day with phisoderm facial wash. It has salacylic acid and deep cleans your pores.
In the winter when my skin gets really dry, it actually causes acne to break out on my arms and back, so I wash my body very well and I use lotion and crazy as it sounds, it makes the acne go away. Expose your skin to as much air as you can. If I wear a sweater, it breaks me out, so I try to stay with lite cotton.
Good luck. I would never wish on a dog the terrible skin I have on anyone. I try to be humble about it and think maybe God gave me pits on my face because he wanted me to stay humble.
You could go to a dermatologist and they will charge you a fortune to give you the advice to wash well and then they give you some cream. Been there and done that at least 20 times.

honey, I will tell you right now that the only way you will get rid of it is to be put on some antibiotics like Tetracycyline and maybe a Clindamyacin salve. Those two together are wonderful. Go to the Dermatologist or your doctor to get the prescriptions and see if that does not help you. The problem with most [body acne] is it is some form of a staph infection which needs an antibiotic to cure it.

Proactiv sells a wide range of products for acne and from experience I know their products work wonders. They sell a body wash with beads that exfoliate the skin, just to remedy problems like back and chest and other body acne. Try them if you havent already. I dont think you'll regret it.
Otherwise, Im sure any other body wash that contains micro beads to exfoliate the skin would help you greatly.
Good luck.

o yea i had that too, in the middle of my chest and on my back, so i had to go to a dermatologist and he gave me some good stuff, go to a dermatologist. (skin doctor)
My expericen with proactive is that it worked good but the problem is that if you stop using it then it becomes worse then it was to begin with, thus making you reliant on using the product, but that could just b what happened to me, i heard nothign but good from elswhere. and it made my face super sensitve, it was itchy yet scratching wouldn't take it away and i thought i scarred my face from scratching but it was alright

I would say to wash with something like this...

If that doesn't work, see a dermatologist for alternative treatments.
