My doctor told me I was supposed to eat only baked or boiled low fat foods pretty much for the rest of my life and I was 24 when mine was removed. The gall bladder is used by your body to digest extra fat that your stomach cannot handle, so once you go over your stomach's fat digestion limit (I think it varies for each person, not sure) then you get the stomach pains and the diarhea. I recommend staying below the level. I pigged out on a double cheeseburger combo meal at Wendy's once and it was not fun, let me tell you. I will never do that again. lol Otherwise, I have found that as long as I stick to a regularly healthy diet(Food Pyramid guidelines), I can splurge on chips and stuff once in a while without killing myself lol. Good Luck

Alright I am gonna be honest with you, the doctor will tell you not to eat anything spicy, greasy, fatty, dairy,or anything that has any flavor what so ever but I do. You just have to do it in moderation or you will be sick. So,just eat several small meals through out the day instead of three large meals and you should be alright. Please be sure you do eat a good variety of healthy foods as well to keep your system balanced because you dont have the gallbladder to filter out all the fats anymore.

I had my GB bumped off over ten years in the past and nevertheless have that situation. It became worse the first 12 months or so than it really is now although. regrettably you don't be able to break down fat, greasy ingredients and so on. because you no longer have a GB. everyone's body is distinct and once your body adjusts you would no longer have any complications. i'd devour small foodstuff a minimum of 6 an afternoon truly of three large foodstuff. This seems to assist me. there's a prescription med referred to as Questran that MD's order that help, you would pick to seem that up on the computing device and study it, then in the adventure that your symtoms proceed you would possibly want to ask your MD about attempting it. wish this helps. God bless you.
