Please don't let stuttering stop you or make you feel dejected. I know a neurologist who stutters and he has a great many patients.
I realize that stuttering makes you nervous and your nervousness makes you stutter. There may be some exercises you can do. Contact a speech therapist to help you and God Bless You.

Have you tried speech therapy? Stuttering can really affect your confidence. Unfortunately, when somone stutters, they are often treated as if they are slow. Men are affected much more ,almost 2-1. Someone close to me stuttered and his was alot stress induced. The therapist taught him some stall techniques to give his muscles time to catch up with his thoughts.Try clearing your throat and looking away as if you are thinking about your answer when you feel your muscles freeze up. Also, notice you have more control when you speak more loudly than usual.Be kind to yourself but don't let it hold you back. Work on walking forcefully and talking with command. It is not easy but it will get you more respect and then more confidence. Telephones are frequently a nightmare. My friend would freeze up after answering the phone because you have to answer right away or the caller won't know why you aren't answering. If your voice freezes up,cough and say excuse me. It's a stall that will give you some time. My friend is also very intelligent ranking in the genius level. I hope this helps. You may know that Moses had a problem with stuttering. When God told him to go to the pharoh and tell him to let his people go,Moses was afraid because he couldn't speak fluently. God still wanted him to go but appointed his brother Aaron to go with him and speak for him. That is where the Aaronic priesthood came from.So you are in very good company. Good uck and God bless.
